Death Via Satellite is a rocktacular, electro/new wave/indie night that holds court once a month in Eamonn Dorans, Dublin. Gathering momentum and a loyal crowd since 2006, DVS brings the best bands to you with minimum fuss and maximum noise

After 10 great shows on Tuesday nights, we've moved to Friday nights (mostly) so that hangover can be dealt with on a Saturday in bed rather than Wednesday in work... DVS has already seen some storming shows by the likes of Love Lies Sleeping (L.A., USA), The Kits (Australia), Queen Kong, alazurussoul, Mendoza, The Ultra Montanes, Kopek, mojoFURY, Fight Like Apes, DC Pakt, Orphan Code, Distractors, Autoban, Laundry Shop & Stagger Lee...

After taking August off to recover from the hangover of Death Via Satellite's 21st birthday in July, show number 22 is Friday 26th September in Eamonn Dorans, with a line up that includes a headline set by rising indie rock collective TIDAL DISTRICT with the eagerly awaited return of VERONA RIOTS to DVS keeping the stage warm. Grungey yet melodic rock from FILTHY KINGS opens proceedings, with DJ's manning the decks from 11.30 with a heady mix of electro, rock & indie for all...

TIDAL DISTRICT have stealthily crept up on the Irish music scene in 2008 and are now poised to blast it from it's foundations. Peddling their brand of sometimes angular but always immediate indie has seen them release their well received EP 'Hold The Party Line' earlier this year. In short, if you've not come across them yet, you will… Witness their happening at DVS 22.

VERONA RIOTS bring equal parts swagger, atmosphere, manic energy and tearful joy to their affirming sound, they also release an EP later this year. Their return to DVS will no doubt result in another stellar performance…

FILTHY KINGS draw in many influences from the opposite worlds of glam & grunge to create a vital & melodic sound that is purely their own. Formerly Love Pop Suicide, they open proceedings at DVS 22.

Doors open at 8.45, admission a paltry €10. With DJ’s til late beaming in rock/electro/indie/new wave/post punk, come early for the bands, stay late for drinking, dancing, debauchery and Death Via Satellite...
