Psycho Fest at the Dublin Fringe Festival
It’s mayhem in the Spiegel! Dublin ’s premier promoters of garage punk, Psychotic Reaction, bring their annual Psycho Fest event to the tent with some of Ireland ’s hottest rock acts sharing the bill. It's Humanzi's first show in Ireland in nearly two years, and combined with feverish energy of The Things and The Dagger Lees (formerly Stagger Lee), this is sure to be a banging night of fresh, raw and diverse sounds.

    HUMANZI, (SFR)
After nearly a two year absence from the Irish music scene Humanzi return to their home land with a new sound and approach to their music and lifestyles. With the past 18 months spent in Berlin writing and recording their latest album, they have found a more mature sound to their 2006 debut album. With some European tours alongside the Beatsteaks and festival appearances with the likes of the Cult and the Sex Pistols.

    THE THINGS, (Big Neck Records)
Irelands first and only real Garage Punk band! Since their formation this outsider cult punk act have released a handful of EP’s on both sides of the globe with plenty of praise coming from the underground press. With new single 'Set me free' due out next month and their new album set for release later this year in Europe and the US .

The Mighty Stef (First Born is Dead Recordings)
Stefan Murphy is a native of Dublin , who for the past four years has taken his songs of love and sleaze far and wide. Compared often to the likes of Nick Cave and Shane MacGowan. The Mighty Stef has an outsiders take on folk, punk and rock n roll. His song writing echoes a lot of personal experience laced with elements of fantasy and adventure and very much inspired by his surroundings. All performed by his band of misfits expect and frenzied and energetic live performance.

The Dagger Lees (Spilt Lip Records)
This female fronted, blues screaming, white-hot soul racket began life in 2006 as Stagger Lee, and made waves on 2007 with the release of their debut single 'Bad Shoes' on their own label, Split Lip Records. Their single reached no. 5 on Ireland's indie charts.
