Death Via Satellite is a rocktacular, electro/new wave/indie night that holds court one Friday a month in Eamonn Dorans, Dublin. Gathering momentum and a loyal crowd since July 2006, DVS brings the best bands to you with minimum fuss and maximum noise. We are now 21 shows old and therefore want to party (and cry if we want to) so join us for a birthday bonanza in Eamonn Dorans on 25th for some sweaty birthday merriment...
We've already seen the likes of Love Lies Sleeping (L.A., USA), The Kits (Australia), and Ireland's finest, Queen Kong, alazurussoul, The Ultra Montanes, Kopek, mojoFURY, Fight Like Apes, DC Pakt, Orphan Code, Distractors, Autoban, Laundry Shop, The Eclectic, Sons of Now, Lights & Stagger Lee all play storming shows, after the first 9 nights on Tuesdays we've moved to Friday nights so that hangover can be dealt with on a Saturday in bed rather than Wednesday in work...
The DVS birthday bash happens on Friday 25th July in Eamonn Dorans with an eagerly awaited headline set beamed in by tipped dance-rock stalwarts AUTOBAN, and we're also bringing back 2 of our favouritest bands to grace the club so far, ABAM and SONS OF NOW to get you moving earlier on.
