    Just a heads up for y'all ...

There is no support next Tues in Vicar St.

Doors at 7.30, band on at 8 for a 3hr set.

Are you involved in this, Mully? Before I opine that there is nobody (NOBODY!) who I'd want to watch for three hours.

"Ryan Adams was great", my brother in law said after his recent gig at The Stadium. "He played for a hundred hours - They had to turn the houselights on to make him go away". This doesn't strike me as a particularly good thing at all.

Nope, just passing on an email I got from TM.

I booked a seat (just in case) as opposed to Standing as I knew they've done this before.

Regarding Ryan Adams, at least this is pre-planned, so no fighting with the lighting Engineer !

I too have a seat which I'm very happy about. Think the time in TBMC they played for about 2 1/2 hours and it was great. Recommended tactic is to have many pints and the time will pass in a happy haze....

Saw them a few months ago in Wellington and they played for close to 3 hours. Have to say though, enjoyed every minute of it.

Saw them last time they played Vicar St. They played close to 3 hours if not more then and it didn't get dull once, incredible atmosphere

Ryan Adams playing even for 3mins is not a particularly good thing.

Saw them on Sunday night. The first timethat I've not enjoyed them. It just felt really Jam bandy. J Mascis, the guys from Explosions In the Sky and one of the Constantines showing up for one of the songs didn't help.

    GO SEE NO AGE TONIGHT.

It should be great. It should also be great if they finish before the last bus to Maynooth. It is not great that I have an exam at 9.30 in the morning. No one has a spare ticket for tonight I take it? Posted in For Sale forum but no reply...

I am quite literally dying to know what was the song Brendan sang, they said it was a pavement-y cover (or one by pavement) called 'water in heaven' but I can't find it anywhere when googled in relation to either band. Can anyone please help me, it was such archetype of lo-fi 90s rock that I can't get it out of my head! Someone sort this out!

    Water in Hell.

No sign of it on Cannings upcoming album. Maybe it'll be going on a new BSS album.

So its not a pavement cover, just part of their increasing Pavement homage project? Well that sucks, can't find it anywhere. Thanks very much Mully
