In my opinion, Neil Young has really set the standard with the release of his new GREENDALE album - a collection of songs which make up the story of the Green family and the twisting road that life takes them on... whats more the release includes a DVD of Young's Solo Acoustic Vicar street gig and a booklet so thick it doesnt fit properly in the plastic tab yolks in the case. All for € 25? beautiful.

Wicker, the thing is I was at the gig, I bought the album and I visited the website and I still dont know exactly what is entailed with this Greendale venture - but I have a feeling that is exactly what Shakey wants!

Greendale is fantastic - I must have listened to it 20 times already and it just keeps getting better. The big question is, which is better, the solo version or the Crazy Horse version? As much as I love Neil solo, on this occasion I think the band wins out. It's all great though - Lets hope for a sequel!!!
