Klootfan - how were I am Kloot live?? Any sign of new material? Thought Natural History was a fine album. Surprised they don't have a higher profile as a result.

Not to forget Hi.rise, who were very good on the Main Stage and David Kitt closing the festival on the Rising Stage was excellent. RE: The Sugababes, I wouldn't consider the Sugababes to be that attractive, except Heidi of course, who I love and will marry some day, but having seen them at Glastonbury I thought they performed excellently. I only saw they're last song at Witnness, a stripped down version of 'Stronger' wasn't it? Other highlights for me were The Roots (though the set was a bit short), The Flaming Lips, and The Polyphonic Spree.

Hi Flagman...I'm glad you liked the Hi.Rise set on Saturday - it was a bit nerve wracking, we weren't too happy with the sound cos we couldn't hear a bloody thing on stage - Crosswinds! A lot of the bands that had monitor mixes in ear pieces seemed to get on ok, but those of us without that kind of gear had problems - we got up with our own gear too which was hilariously sad looking next to Echo & the Bunnymens truck of Flight cases! But it was all over in a heart beat anyway. Thought the Coral were amazing, as were Supergrass (they pulled off a great sound on the main stage) The Streets and Underworld were good too. On sunday saw Har Mar Superstar who stripped down to a thong - he was good, very entertaining. Ladytron were xcellent, so were Kings of Leon, The Warlocks and 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster - heard Tricky was brilliant but missed him sadly. Caught a bit of the Super Furries too on Main stage but again sound was gammy I thought - Coldplay were a bit of a let down also. Mundy was good. What was David Kitt like? Couldn't stomach the Frames/David Gray buzz to be honest but I really wanted to see Cane 141 and Autamata but couldn't in the end - did anyone catch either of them?? So...who got the worst sunburn ?????!!!!!

David Kitt was great, a real nice end to the weekend considering my frazzled state. The crowd were going mad for him. He was his usual semi scambolic self but carried it off nicely. Did loads of covers: Jackie Wilson, 'Your Love is lifting me higher', The Ramones, 'I wanna be sedated' to name but two. And a fine big version of 'Headphones' was a treat. Fantastic band with him, even had a Bez of sorts, this manic, wild haired trumpet player dancing around the stage.

I am Kloot were really good live. and a surprisingly big audience considering their low profile. They played a few new songs and they sounded really good. They are touring in september with david kitt. Should be good. Apparently alot of UK press are finally picking up on them I caught cane 141, i was really looking forward to them, but i was a bit dissappointed. They have become alot more experimental, i prefered their more accoustic stuff in the last album. Ladytron were great, Mars volta werent bad, The flaming lips were deadly.
