looking for musicians 20-28 to begin an electronic & synth centered mega-band.

This project would be mainly synth led, a cross between moody electro like the Knife to dancier electropunk such as the Faint or theSTART. Ideally a line up would be 2-3 musicians that could handle bass/guitar/synths and rotate as needed and while they can also lend vocals, a lead female voice would be kerrazy cool for a bit of edge…

A drummer would be handy(!) but programmed beats would be just as good for this style as you can imagine, even having someone on live production /sound manipulation to tweak drumbeats and sequences as they go. Maybe a drummer that is just as comfortable using drum machines/pads or whatever, and is able to and willing to step out from a regular kit?

To go into more detail on influences, from the more darkwave aspect of the Knife, Kraftwerk, Gary Numan, The Birthday Massacre, Deadsy, She Wants Revenge, Depeche Mode to the dancier elements of bands like The Faint (BIG influence on me anyway), theSTART, Head Automatica, The Unicorns, Help! She Cant Swim, Bloc Party, idiotpilot, LCD Soundsystem, you may get the idea!

So as far as who may be handy for this venture, anyone who can help with the following jobs (multitaskers if possible!)…

Synth
Sequencing (Reason etc)
Drum beats/pads/regular kit
Guitar
VOCALS! (Preferrably female)

I've played bass in a (now defunct) band for 5 years and also synth for 2 of those so know my way around both @ this stage, plus semi-handy with Reason etc. Looking for serious ppl that want to attempt something exciting that not enough in Ireland seem to be pushing on with at the mo (so props to Super Extra Bonus Party, Betamax Format & Dark Room Notes)…

This may not be some people's cup of tea at all, I know from reading most ads online that ppl are still more into the usual 2 guitars/bass/drums approach, but if this tickles anyone's fancy at all just get back to me via mail at sealed_human@hotmail.com?
