IMRO Showcase Tour | Best Of Tour Gig | Sat June 21 @ The Village The 2003 IMRO Showcase Tour reaches its finale in June with some of the very best emerging acts from these shores taking the stage to showcase to music industry figures, media representatives and an eager live music audience in The Village, Wexford Street, Dublin on Saturday June 21. The acts were chosen from the 50 bands showcased by IMRO around Ireland over the last couple of months. The bands selected to perform are: The Things La Rocca Rulers of the Planet Hi. Rise The Riffs The Hooks Label Red Twelve The night will be hosted by Dave Fanning, with 2FM on hand to record the show as a live broadcast. There will be a very special guest appearance by the fantastic TURN, who themselves are about to embark on a nationwide tour. "Possibly the finest collection of unsigned talent I've ever come across in rapid succession" is how one review in Hotpress described the event in 2002. Last year this showcase was completely sold out so those of you interested in seeing some big names of the future … get there early…. Tickets will be available at the door on the night.
