Would anybody know if there is an Irish publication that would publish a feature/review on an independant German hip hop label. A friend is promoting the label and a new book on graffiti and Hip hop.
I personally don't have any knowledge of Irish music publications beyond Hot Press! Is there others? Failing that what are the UK music mags /web publications that would feature /review Hip hop.
ta very much!

the event guide are dedicated to covering all aspects of a wide range of quality indep. music incl. hip-hop, and also cover visual art so the book might interest them aswell as the label...it's free, widely available and read by a lot of people every issue...wouldn't bother with hot press!...

more slightly ambitious advice...try getting in touch with 2fm DJ jay ahern, who does a great 'underground' show every sunday night...he's keen on hip-hop and very keen on european labels...he always features music from small labels and talks about them in great detail...e.g. last sunday he gave a lot of exposure to a tiny label from england (rocketgirl)...i'm sure if you contact him he'll play tracks on his show once he thinks the music's good...
