Death Via Satellite is Dublin's loudest rock/electro/new wave/post punk club nite that has moved to weekends once per month in Eamonn Dorans. DVS has already seen some of Dublin's real contenders through its doors during its first 11 shows, Love Lies Sleeping (L.A, USA), Queen Kong, alazarussoul, The Ultra Montanes, Fight Like Apes, Kopek, mojoFURY, Stagger Lee, Offshore DC Pakt & Orphan Code and plenty more have all ripped up the stage...

The next show on Saturday 27th October features a headline set from tipped rock/post punk contenders DISTRACTORS, with much lauded SONS OF NOW bringing their swaggering indie rhythms to DVS.

DISTRACTORS are bright contenders in the Irish music scene, providing a potent blend of instant, melodic rock. Since forming, the band have gained an increasing number of admirers through support slots with Air Traffic and on the IMRO Showcase and promise to hit new heights after their brilliant debut single 'Last Stand' was released to acclaim in August.

SONS OF NOW are one of the city's most exciting bands, creating a sound that swaggers and can't help but get any room moving. Their 1990's Primal Scream/Stone Roses style is given a thoroughly modern makeover with an effortlessly cool sound that is… pure Sons Of Now. Nobody would bet against them being on top form so come down and see them prepare for their upcoming shows in the UK next month at DVS 12...

More guests announced later this week, and as its Saturday and nobody has an excuse for the last bus, house DJ's take over til the wee hours beaming in electro/indie/rock/new wave du jour…
