Oooooh, I can't agree with this one. I think Nina Hynes is great. She's got a fairly unusual voice which matches the harmonies in her songs perfectly and the songs are pretty diverse, which always makes for good listening. I saw her at Witnness last year and she's great live too. My only problem is her "Staros" album (which despite being great) is over-produced, too much noise which is probably the fault of that guy from the Frames who co-produced it. She doesn't need to "associate", she's a good artist in her own right.
And at the risk of being unpopular on this site, I prefer Nina's music to Gemma Hayes, because Gemma is a little too......Sheryl Crow or something, if you know what I mean...........
