Just wondering what people think of the phantom night this thursday... the line-up: Wilt Babelfish Blotooth & The CrayonZ I think it's a really strange line-up, peculiar choice,,and they have the best band on first in my opinion...it all seems a bit stale to me really, there's nothing new about it, it's certainly not helping new talent, by any means..

in my opinion kitter, wilt should headline. but the crayonZ are new talent, so thats one at least, and well worth a listen too. i would have thought a rather predictable mid-schedule considering the amount of airplay they both get on phantom... deserved or not... hmmmm

I guess you could say that judging by the CD... Should be decent enough though...What time's kick off?? Don't want to miss the crayonZ...

First band kicks off at around 8.30, bit early but should be worth it!

Hi All proceeds from this event will be shared between Focus Ireland and Aware - two very hard working charities. Tickets for the gig are €12 and are available from Road and Freebird who have waived their normal ticket sales commission. Gig followed by Phantasm till 3am. BTW, Kitter I think your comment "it's certainly not helping new talent, by any means." is unjustified. Given that there are only 4 artists there is a mix of new and the more established.

I suppose you have to have the established bands so that there is enough of a crowd to hear the new talent. That's one way the new becomes established.
