he there sports fans ust thought id let ye know of a couple of lovely little gigs happening in cork over the next week or so. As im sure ye all know by the massive buldboard campaign which has been in place for several months now next week is live music week in ucc with free gigs a plenty. Headlining the week will be bellx1 and nina hynes plus special guests on thursday night not free but well worth the entrance fee. Secondly there is a lovely little gig on in the blackbird in ballycotton this friday night the 6th of december. Pete courtney will be strutting his stuff in this smashing little venue which always offers great music, an intimate crowd (not in that way) and great beer so if your tired of the usual blasee music scene come see this fresh and exciting musical bonanza which we here in cork are putting on.
