Michael Brunnock will play three shows in Ireland in August; - 14th August, The Mezz, Temple Bar, Dublin, 8pm - 15th August, Ramor Theatre, Virginia, Co. Cavan, 7.30pm - 19th August, The Spirit Store, Dundalk, Co Louth, 8pm
Michael released his new album “So I Do” in June 2007. His contemporary acoustic folk-rock sound has been compared loosely to Neil Young and Cold Play but the songs and particularly live performances, are very much his own.
He used to be the frontman for Irish bands “Little Palace” and “The Van Winkles” and now lives in New York where he is a founding member of the Fairplay Collective along with Mark Dignam, Jenna Nicholls, Michael Brunnock, and Brendan O' Shea. These four performers and their friends and fans pool resources to promote each member’s music sharing their time, costs, ideas and other resources to book and promote gigs, publicise album releases, form musical collaborations and access rehearsal, recording and performance facilities etc.
Michael will support The Frames in their upcoming show in New York on September 10th.
