If anyone's interested, Swedish indiepop geniuses Suburban Kids with Biblical Names are coming to Ireland to play the Galway Arts Festival, and will also be playing in Cork on the 28th and Dublin on the 29th.

The Dublin gig will be in Kennedy's, on Sunday afternoon, and will also feature Michael Knight & Groom. Entry will cost €10, which isn't a lot when you consider that they got 8/10 for the UK/Irl release of their debut album #3 in NME last month and 4/5 in Uncut. That's 12 out of a possible total of 15.

Also, anyone who downloaded the Kids' album from the internet and enjoyed it can now go and buy a legitimate copy in Irish record shops - it's distributed by RMG (and features bonus tracks not available on the Labrador release). This is recommended, as the front cover is very nice to look at.

    That is all.

hey - the Dublin gig is in Kennedy's, which is on Westland Row (same street as Pearse train station). Suburban Kids will probably be on about 3 pm. & there may be cd samplers for people turning up early.

The Galway gig is in the Róisín Dubh. And there's a Cork gig on in Cyprus Avenue - on Friday the 27th - it's a late gig.
