Hi
I am putting together a cdrom and need to find a intro track that
is emotive and powerful eg. the intro to riverdance (lambeg drums?)but not necessarily with a trad angle
Anyone know of something with a powerful drum beat intro with possibly chello sound that builds and builds - would appreciate it
Barry

Just the way i'm feeling by feeder or there goes the fear by doves maybe?
'and jesus did feed the fecophiliacs loaves and fish, more specifically pinched loaves and chocolate salmon'

How about 'I Can See For Miles' by The Who or 'Ten Story Love Song' by The Stone Roses.

ten story love song is a good one
i think i have a good one but i cant recall the name , so help me out here people.
it's on mogwai "rock action" , i think it's the seventh track and it starts with a great drum beat and just keeps getting bigger ,with trumpet and stuff too.
here's another:you would prob. have to scan through the tracks , but there are also several fantastic "start with drums and build to infinity" moments on "leve vos skinny fists..." by godspeed you black emporer.there's a chello in there for sure and other strings and this whole album is incredibly powerful.it's all instrumentals too.
good luck.
