hi all mick here from da 2 .just being reading all the rumors to do with the da 2 first of all my apologies to high rise and all the bands we had to cancel while we had to close...the reason we had to shut was because our ceiling from the upstairs venue contacting the downstairs bar started to form a serious crack in it so we had to shut because we thought it had become to unsafe. we had to put up 3 support beams while were getting our new floor put in for sat...the situation with the noise limiter is well and truly sorted we have used this limiter for the past 3 months and the only problem weve had was at the high rise charity night ..since weve had the limiter on weve done over 40 gigs but the night of high rise we did have some serious problems..we have on going problems with our neighbours that were trying to sort out but a lot of the problem stems from us barring a lot of the locals when we took this place over from the met bar.they dont seem to like what were doing with giving a new venue to wexford st but we have to work with them on this we will be here for a very long long time now that all the messing has ben sorted out .on behalf of the da2 to sorry to everyone one weve let down over the last week it really couldent be helped...mick
