Having already played SXSW 2007 this year, Frightened Rabbit bring their blend of punk pop to Carlow's Underground (Music Factory) this coming Saturday, May 26th. One could go to extremes and write realms about this Scottish collection, but instead, lets leave the final words up to the band themselves: "Frightened Rabbit are a drummer called Grant and a guitarist called Scott. We are brothers and are therefore related. We've been playing quite well in Glasgow pubs since 2004 and still have no friends who are awesome. We do, however, have a favourite food, and that is the Scotch Egg." Their music sounds good too. Make sure you're there to hear it.

The Arrangements have a no-filler policy, and with an arsenal of hook-heavy catchy tunes, they are ready to make a major impact on the music scene. In November they were picked as the local support (Waterford) on the 2FM 2moro tour, and in December their track Mr.Frazier was featured in the Coke-iTunes Irish podcast. January 07 saw the band being invited to perform a 2FM session for the Dan Hegarty show. With invitations to the IMRO showcase tour, the National Student Music Awards & a video from Tisch, 2007 is shaping up to be a very interesting year for the band. You can catch them, along with Frightened Rabbit, in the Underground, Music Factory Carlow on Saturday 26th May.

    FREE ENTRY to this gig.
