    Anyone going to this? I just booked two tickets this morning. I think it could be good if they get enough bodies in the door. I saw them in the ambassador last time they played here and it wasn’t a good gig but I think that was mainly due to it being a dry (non-alcohol) gig.

    Shame their new album isn’t out before the gig. Hopefully it will leak.

    Yeah, a good few mates of mine have tickets picked up. That ambassador gig was rubbish. They had played whelans a number of times before that and I managed to catch one which was a cracker.... Also the oxegen gig was quite good.

    I reckon they could sell it out.. but it would have been easier with the new album out. Being recorded in Ireland apparently

    The only thing i will say though was that I thought some of the newer songs at that ambassador gig were a little too "Coldplay-ish" for my liking

    ye the ambassador gig was decidedly average and i agree with Kloot they did border on the Coldplayish a bit too much. The singer was giving it Chrismartin socks which was annoying.

    I saw them in 2005 in a tiny venue in Copenhagen and they were amazing, but id have to hear the new stuff before i would stump up for more tickets
