Demon’s Eye, Europe’s definitive Deep Purple tribute band, will be appearing in the Temple Bar Muisc Centre on Friday 23rd March. Deep Purple’s legacy and influence continue to profoundly affect popular music and Demon’s Eye capture that magic at its early 70s zenith. Renowned for their technical excellence and attention to detail, Demon’s Eye have even wowed Deep Purple themselves, with original drummer Ian Paice joining the young German band for a number of European dates on their current tour. In fact long-time DP bassist Roger Glover was so impressed by their skill and accuracy that he commented "I listened to your CD ´ALIVE´ and I was amazed. Your tunes sound uncannily true to the original. Well done! You have the right to be proud. Good luck.” You can expect a powerful and nostalgic performance from Demon’s Eye with faithful renditions of all the Purple classics, including "Child In Time", "Black Night", "Woman From Tokyo", "Perfect Strangers" and “Smoke on the Water.” The band are passionate about the music they play and they cannot be easily dismissed as a ‘mere covers band’ as the nature of the Deep Purple compositions has left space for the five musicians to integrate their own style and flair. Demon's Eye's intentions is to make each concert a unique event for the audience. This gig will be a home-coming of sorts too for Irishman Robby Thomas Walsh, Demon’s Eye lead singer, so an extra special performance is no doubt on the cards. Almost every fan of Deep Purple has the dream to see the band only once in the shape of "Made in Japan" (1972). Demon`s Eye let this dream come true.
