“The Prescriptions” The Date: Friday 20th December The Venue: DA2, Wexford St The Time: 8:30 The Admission: €8 “The Prescriptions” return to Wexford St. after the highly successful launch of their debut single “Simple Pleasures” by performing in DA2 on Friday 20th December. The band have spent the intervening weeks writing and recording songs for their debut album due to be released in the first half of 2003. The show at DA2 will air some of the new material including “Running while Driving” & “Black Sheep”. Those who heard the acoustic session on “Late Night Live with Declan Carty” on Newstalk 106 will have had a sneak preview of the material. There will also be some very special guests (you know who you are)joining the band in DA2 on the 20th. So hold on to your party hats you never know what might happen. Although sources close to the band have strongly denied they are secretly rehearsing a version of "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" The band will be on stage at 9:30.
