Just bought one, I reckon if i don't like the lineup it'll be very easy to sell. With the festival staying at 32,500 capacity I am certain these tickets are going to be super hard to get next summer.

I'm kinda pissed off they are already on sale. Very Massive Corporate Dictator promoter-like to bring them out before Christmas. I'm not wasting a potential €200 of my Christmas present list on this?! Easter is a better time for festival ticket sales, when we've nothing better to spend our money on than the futile hope of a perfect end to a perfect summer.

Can't somebody please think of the Baby Jee?

Isn't this all about making EP tickets the ideal Christmas gift?

    Very very cynical.

how come the price went up from last year, thats pretty steep. If you think about its more expensive than glasto, (and glasto's back whoooo!) and that hardly seems right.

Fucking ridicuously early to go on sale too, what is the point?

it's the vat passed on to the consumer... we knew this would happen... it will happen elsewhere as well...

as for the early sale, the argument would be that they need some cashflow to start committing monies to next year... but i don't buy that in a companies of aiken and pods sizes... they're going for the christmas market alright

even if it is the vat being passed on, why does it still cost so much?

If glasto can be put on for less, surely EP can too. Maybe they need to make it bigger, that would be no bad thing.

But remember you're comparing the ticket price of Glasto 2005 with EP 2007, I would expect Glasto ticket to be over €200 for 2007.

the tax is only on tickets sold after 2007, so it would seem that they are pocketing an extra 25 quid for every ticket sold between now and NYE
