Loads of brilliant articles on The Guardian's website always, but in the music section they have a couple of really fascinating ones (if you haven't already seen them):
First, they asked 49 musicians/writers to each nominate an album that they love which is completely unrecognised and unknown by the wider public (the article is in two parts):

I know it's a regular series in some magazines but still..... 100 (apparently) great albums, and apart from 'Inspiration Information' by Shuggie Otis (a bit saccharine for me but still a lovely record) I've heard none of them - deadly! Discovering brilliant music is a thrill, so off I go this week to my local library to take out loads of CDs (vive la France! High taxes but great public services).
Does anyone have any of those albums on the list?
