CYHSY have a bad live rep but I'll judge them for myself, Alec Ounsworth has a tendancy to sing like Eric Cartman live. I've got no idea how they'll fit whatever combination of BSS they bring onto that stage. Benni, I've heard great things about them live.

yea ive seen videos - theres a load of them aint there! Either way I'm sure the tunes will be top. Hoping CYHSY avoid a south park vibe also.

I know that CYHSY have become successful due to word of mouth (Una went on about them months ago aswell) and have recently signed a proper record deal, but how come all the albums are gone from record stores in Dublin? Tower Recs, off Wicklow Street, had a few copies of their debut album but none are left and HMV are expecting an official release on 23rd of January. I didn't think they were 'that' popular. Either way, their show and BSS are defo not to be missed when they eventually roll around. Here's a recent interview with three members of Broken Social Scene: http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/interviews/b/broken-social-scene-05/ And here's a live review of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah: http://www.drownedinsound.com/event/view/13813
