just typed up a lovely message and lost it so here's the expurgated version... kcrw: california radio station. morning becomes eclectic: show on kcrw, broadcasts live sets by bands/musicians, archives them on site. current shows include kings of convenience, shelby lynn, eels, doves, thievery corporation. (some of those may be upcoming shows). huge archive - for those who like them, damo rice and the frames have some great sets on there, and i believe i saw some arcade fire too... apologies if this is old news, but it's one of my favourite sites so wanted to share.

m83 one from may3 is excellent, as is the arcade fire one - stringtastic version of wake up.

theres a brilliant Blue Nile one from last year. i discovered KCRW round about the same time we got broadband in the house. 5pmish is Morning Become Eclectic time! Brilliant show - we need more shows like that over here, on in primetime not in the small hours of the morning. Phantom, anyone?

Anyone got a favourite session from the archive? I quite like The Soundtrack Of Our Lives, Sharon Jones And The Dap Kings, The Decemberists, Spoon, Steve Earle and Beck. Such a great little show.

It's not listed on the budrising website though… I spotted that too… let's hope they don't play to an empty Crawdaddy…
