I have in the past tried to form bands with little success, there are very few slots for singers in Dublin these days but I have written a lot of songs and I want to make an album out of them but the only problem with that is, while I think it is lyrically sound, I can't do the material justice with my limited knowledge of instruments. So with the following restrictions I am looking to hire others to help me finish writing these songs or if you are a musician looking for a band I'm also looking to team up, this would be my preference but I'm going to get this material finished whether I have a band or not.
For those interested in getting work on this project, you can e-mail me at miholik@hotmail.com or phone me at 0876636563 with the fee you're expecting to receive for your services and any relevant experience you have.
Once the song is complete you will leave enough to pick up on so that someone else can mimic your work should you not stick around.
I am looking for anyone skilled in the following instruments.
Guitar electric/acoustic
Drums
Piano/keyboard
Bass
Banjo
Chelo
Violin
Ukelele
Influences on the project include The White Stripes, The Beatles and Talking Heads.
I am based in Dun Laoghaire and if you are anywhere in a reachable bus/train route from there and are interested then give me a call or e-mail and we can work something out. Look forward to hearing from you.

Mike, very quickly, under Irish Copyright Law and in line with IMRO rules on composer accreditation, all people who contribute to a song have a copyright within it so, please clarify what you mean by fees since co-writers will also be automatically due all other royalties due as a composer or co-composer of material. I would suggest you get in contact with IMRO at www.imro.ie for guidance on this matter, unless you want to get sued down the road by a collaborator who feels they didn't get their fair share. Just a thought.
