The Clap are an international dance rock Dj party set in Dublin , London and New York. After making people hot foot it onto the dancefloors for well over a year in all the major gig venues in Dublin and with a current residency in Carnival, The Clap have decided to share the best in live music with the masses.....
Headlining on the night are LR RocKeTs, a hotly tipped five piece band from London, the band have 3 vocalists who combine to produce shouty art rock pop tunes, with a new single and video due for release on October 30th. They are gonna be huge so get to see them this Friday before anyone else does.
Support comes from
Dublin based Cap Pas Cap who seem to be getting bigger by the minute, just back from playing The Reading Festival and recently picked to support The GO! Team on part of their upcoming UK tour, Cap pas Cap have been compared to Talking Heads, The Fall and Sonic Youth amongst others.
Newcomers The Exhibition, a three piece band, from Dundalk, Dublin and Manchester who in the grand tradition of bands met whilst at Art college, are highly influenced by Orange Juice, Can and The Stooges. These boys are currently attracting a lot of attention of late so make sure to get there early as they kick off the nights live music at around 8.30pm.
All of this will be tied together in a neat little package with a guest dj slot from LOVE ACTION and of course a new wave neu rave punk pop dance off provided by your hosts THE CLAP til the small hours
