This is The Urges final Dublin show before the World Cup begins.
"The Urges remind me of why I fell in love with rock and roll in the first
place; if the "Nuggets' CDs mean anything to you, don't miss this great new
band that went to school on the British Invasion and graduated with flying
psychedelic colors!" ? DJ Ken Dashow, Q104.FM, New York
Well, The Urges have been a bit on the busy side in farther fields over the
last few months. They supported the Sultans of Ping on their comeback show in
London, March 18th they played with Nuggets legends the Remains in Lleida
(Spain) and Paris over the Easter break. They're off to Brussels on Friday May
26th for the Suicide Twist Festival and then Liverpool on the following Sunday
and Monday for the I.P.O. Festival. No, no, hang on - there's more. On June
20th they're flying off to Toulouse for the Friends of Pop Festival and on the
22nd they're landing into Rotterdam for Europe's premier garage festival -
Primitive. Can't afford the jet set lifestyle to keep up with these high
flying North Dublin garage rockers? No worries, they're playing their twist of
classic rock in CrawDaddy on June 4th. Support on the night comes from the
fantastic Revellions. Admission is only €10 so make sure you're down there
early, the place is bound to be stuffed. Doors at 8pm.
