After a gruelling 5 week 3 date tour of Dublin (incorporating both the North and South sides) we took some time off from the road to recuperate, to rest, and most importantly to write a few new songs and we'll be showcasing our new direction three times in the next month. First up is Wednesday April 12th in Crawdaddy where along with Lauren Guillery well be opening for the lovely and talented Page 27. 7 in, doors at 20:30, first act (most likely us, but maybe not; definitely not Page 27 though) on at 9. Then on Thursday April 20th were playing our first ever headlining gig in MD Slatterys in Rathmines. Doors probably at 20:30 and admission will be cheap. Finally, on Friday April 28th we're once again playing Radiator which has recently moved from Dorans to The Hub in Temple Bar. Also playing are The Eclectic, The Flicks and the marvellously named Strangle The Dog. 9 in or 8 with a flyer, guess what time the doors are? We'll be on at 21:30-ish. That is all.

Oh I'm sorry, did I say cheap? I meant to say free, support from Podge from Ham Sandwich solo.

Just to not step on any toes I'll say it's the band that I'm in. That's a horrible question benni, what's Stagger Lee like? I usually just glibly say pretentious indie w**k but a more accurate answer is probably a little bit shoegazey, a little bit indie, a little bit acousticy and a little bit noisey. More of a big, expansive MBV/Radiohead/Broken Social Scene/post-rock but with vocals kinda sound (on some of it) then straight ahead balls out rock n' roll if ya know what I mean. Oh, and lots of delay. Don't have any MP3's yet, recording is turning out to be painfully slow but we might throw a few rough live takes up on myspace soon.

Due to sudden circumstances beyond our control (in other words, s**t happens) we've had to cancel our gig on Thursday. We'll rearrange it for as soon as possible and let you know when it's going to happen. As of this moment we're still playing the Hub on Friday the 28th.
