    The Electric fix #12 presents a night of alternative rock, indie, electro and funny hats. SAVINO THE LEECHES / THE CHASE / LPX Tuesday April 4th / Eamonn Doran’s, Temple Bar Doors 8.30pm / Cover Charge 5 Euros The Electric Fix returns to Eamonn Doran’s for the first time since last September for TheEF #12, which sees SAVINO headline alongside THE LEECHES, THE CHASE and alt./electro noise maker LPX. This classy mix of alternative rock and über modern stylings should make for one noisy f**ker of a show. People with interesting shoes and gold-plated belts are welcomed with open arms and will be showered with love and honey. SAVINO We grew up, learned to play some instruments. Learned to play some chords, formed a band. Wrote some songs played some shows. Saw so people. Said hello. Born in Kildare in 1981, he has been creating electronic and dub music and has been performing in the area of sound engineering, production, and computer music for approximately four years now. In the summer of 2003, he wrote and performed the soundtrack for the short feature "15 Minutes" which was directed by Liam Geraghty and starred Ross McMahon), whilst in January 2004, he performed live for the first time, supporting Friction=Fire and Pilot Stars. In April 2005, Leigh created The Electric Fix - a collective of artists, musicians and alternativist people, which was officially launched on the June bank holiday weekend. When performing live (and in studio) Leigh prefers to use Reason 2.5, Cubase SX and his brain. You can also catch regular updates at www.myspace.com/lpxireland.
