i would just like to warn all bands thinking of playing the isaac butt, that they have an amateur if not the worst fucking sound engineer i have ever come across in fact how dare he call himself a sound engineer , word of advice to those who hire the fucker get rid of the prick

if the band is terrible...there is not much a sound engineer can do about it. Everytime I was there the sound was great. U sound like u played a bad gig there. Maybe u were crap.

Not always the case...........there are some really sh*ty sound engineers out there - most of whom I reckon are just frustrated musicians. They are concerned with the venue sound and couldn't care less if you can hear anything on stage - however that said, there are some fantastic engineers doing the rounds: Graham (Dorans) and Ed (Vicar Street) are two in particular (sorry i don't know yer surnames lads!) - two of the most easy going, talented and accommodating engineers going. Maybe we should have an engineer of the year award?

unless they have got a new guy in there recently...
I always found the sound engineer in there to be quite good
...at least with the Garageland gigs

If youre talking about Dave Sinbad youre wrong!
he's a cool bloke and a good sound engineer.
but shit happens...and if you didnt get on with the engineer...they will fuck your sound to make you look like dicks!
at least i would!!!!
