A while back I decided that my writing wasn't cynical enough so in order to get more of an edge I joined a band reasoning that being a failed musician would give me the required bitterness. We're called Nanobot and we're playing START! in Voodoo on the 22nd. Headliner is The Big Wheels and the other folk on the bill are Schmackey+The Salads and Oggyie. €6, come along if you're free.

Go Unicron... after all the gigs you've covered for us i think the least we can do is show up with our pens and notebooks and stare you out of it! Looking forward to it & best of luck. PS: My Fav act is the Manics... do they suck!?

In that case I think I'll be doing the early Jim Morrisson/Jesus and Maey Chain thing and playing with my back to the crowd then. Manics had their moments but I hate the newish stuff. I like James Dean Bradfield's voice though and at the time "A Design For Life" was my favourite song of the Britpop era. I was a bit too young to get into them during the Richie years and their subsequent releases has scared me off from investigating the Generation Terrorists/The Holy bible stuff. Always liked "Motorcycle Emptyness" though.
