    UP IN ARMS Amnesty International Weekender at the Village, Dublin December 2nd, 3rd & 4th Doors Open: 7.30pm Tickets: €18 each night AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL teams up with Dublin’s premiere live music venue THE VILLAGE to present UP IN ARMS, a weekender with one of the most exciting music line-ups assembled in 2005. The gigs are part of Amnesty International’s campaign for a global Arms Trade Treaty to bring the trade in weapons under control and to ensure the introduction of tough new legislation to regulate Ireland’s €5bn a year trade in military and dual use goods. UP IN ARMS takes place over three days and three nights featuring unrivalled live performances and DJ sets from over 21 artists. Artists confirmed for the event include: FRIDAY 2nd Jerry Fish & The Mudbug Club Paddy Casey DJ Set The Chapters Alphastates Julie Feeney SATURDAY 3rd Mainline Arveene (Clampdown) DJ Set Porn Trauma The Urges The Mighty Stef SUNDAY 4th Mark Geary Donal Dineen DJ Set Dave Couse & The Impossible Leagues DJ Set Pinky Windings Special guest live performances and DJ sets in The Village bar, from 4pm on the Friday, and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday including Johnny Moy (DJ set), The Blizzards, Bronagh Gallagher (DJ set), The Ultra Montanes, Autamata and more to be announced!! Bands, DJs, visuals, raffles - The Village upstairs, downstairs, from top to bottom, will be hosting one big long party to kick off the festive season.
