Gerry scullion gives his support to Roesy this sunday the 13th Bewley's Theatre 8pm Minus Circus were formed in the summer of 2005 by Ger Scullion (vocals, guitars), Fiachra Murphy (backing vocals, bass) and Nick Matthews (drums). Drawing on many eclectic influences varying from Aimee Mann, The Blue Nile, Sigur Rós and Wilco they quickly set about writing acoustic based material that was melodic and story based. Having recently been invited to play Glasgow Merchant City Music Festival in September and support slots to Shay Cotter in Cork - the band are busy preparing to record some tracks with Dave Slevin (U2, Paul Brady, Hot House Flowers, Bryan Adams) before the end of 2005.
