Hi everyone! Just wanna tell ya that there's a singer songwriter nite in The Plough every Wednesday. The next one is the 10th of july, which is tomorrow. Colm Querney(ex Lir) is coming down to play a few tunes among many others. Doors open 8.45 & addmission is 4 euro. Hope to see you there, Karen

So what's the story with this then ? If you're a songwriter who wants to play, how long do you get to play / how many songs do you get to do ? Do you just turn up on the night or book in advance a la The Ruby Sessions ? Is there a PA ?

Duh, probably should have read the post properly and realised that it's on tonight and I can probably have all these and many more questions answered just by turning up........

Hey, You send an E-mail to starsintheplough@hotmail.com and if you give me a few days notice, I'll hopefully be able to give you a slot on the next Wed., otherwise it'll probably be the week after. So you don't have to wait too long to perform at the Plough. You'll be able to play anywhere from 2-4 songs, depending on how busy the nite is. If you play on the nite you don't pay the cover charge otherwise it's 4 euro in. There's always a great atmosphere & It's genuinly a great nite. See you all soon, Karen
