On Sept. 9th, The Guggenheim Grotto released their long awaited Debut Album '...Waltzing Alone'. The Album entered the Top 40 Album Chart within it's first week of release. With their first Radio Promo Single 'Told You So' being chosen as 'Song of the Week' on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on Today FM, the Single climbed to number 12 on the Irish National Radio Airplay Chart. '...Waltzing Alone' was chosen by Larry Gogan as his 'Album of the Week' on 2FM. Having featured on Tom Dunne's 'Irish Music Hour' on Pet Sounds (every Tues. on Today FM) the band then went on to become Pet Sounds 'Rising Artist' of the week, rating a positive 98% in the Pet Sounds online listener's poll. With the recording of exclusive live studio sessions for Dan Hegarty's show on 2FM, their New Single 'Wonderful Wizard' already receiving heavy rotation on our national airwaves, and 'Waltzing Alone' recently playlisted by American radio station WXPN, The Guggenheim Grotto are proving that their live performances are definitely not to be missed.
