the urges @ whelan's thursday 27 october support: TBC adm: €10 - doors 7.30pm the urges are having a good year so far: a top 20 single, a full house at the music centre for the single lauch, supoort slots with the zutons, the bees, ocean colour scene, duke spirit, the la's & billy childish. paul weller support slot coming up in december. ripped it up at this years HWCH festival to full house in TBMC. played legendary london garage venue: the dirty water club. played the NEMO showcase festival in boston, including a quick sop over tour of new york. next week sees them play in the international garage club in paris: gloria. check them out to see what all the fuss is about. it'll be garage-tastic! tickets available from the WAV Box Office (Camden Row) www.theurges.com
