    The Prescriptions launch their second EP 'Pro Bono Publico' this Friday, Oct 7, in Crawdaddy. Support from Justin Corr and Barry O'Brien & band. Doors 8pm, admission €10/€8 with concession. The band will also be doing an instore gig at 1pm Friday in Tower Records. www.theprescriptions.com

    Thanks Gar.The launch gig was quite good too & the 'scrips want to thank everybody who came along.Special mentions to Justin corr and the Barry O Brien Band for turning in excellent sets. the prescriptions play Whelans next thurs 13 oct. with justin corr & Lebowski as part of sightsavers benefit gig.Tickets are only a fiver and it's obviously a good cause so any Cluas fans are most welcome. Come to think of it Barry O brien,the mighty stef & The Walls are next door in the Village on the same night so Wexford street is gonna be some buzz on Thursday.Can't wait really!
