R/S are playing at The Hugh Lane Gallery on Parnell Square this Saturday night. There’ll be lots of new material, the like of which you’ve never stroked, unless you’ve had occasion to caress the hirsute humpback of a half-Tibetan goat clerk. We’ll be playing at 10pm and we believe admission is around €8 if you show up before then. Decal is also playing, as are a bunch of others including Tremors, Nervousystem, Rod, Anne Seagrave. Apparently there'll be cheap booze... We may not play again this year as we’re working on a new album. If that’s something you might care about, feel free to come along on Saturday night and voice your indignation in the phlegmatic tones of a tubercular dwarf. If not, why are you still reading this?

I might go, but on the condition that there is no art present.

If by "art", you're referring to the Platonic concept of a debased, second-order mimesis, then relax: there'll nothing of the sort.

Well that's one thing in your favour. Tell me more about this lack of art....

Wish I had the time, brother. Come along tomorrow - but bring an open mind.

Pretty good overall, thanks. The room acoustics were challenging (high ceiling, hard walls - very ringy) but as it was an improv set we managed to work with it somehow.

We're looking at our options for recording over the next few months. I'd like to think we could get the next album out by Christmas but that's probably not going to happen...
