Moondog Matinee has only been running a few months and already has a huge following of music fans and musicians alike. It runs on the last thurs of each month in the Stags Head, Dame Lane. Its a non-profit music club, which means not only do you get in for free, but you also get to interact with the acts in a special way - they bake cakes for the audience to eat! This is complimented by free tea! Future / past acts include: Eoghan Scott, Pamela Halton, Acoustilicous, The Blood Red Mountain Band, Jay Fowler, Lucera, Nancy Falkow & Karl Vincent. Due to a change in ownership, the next gig will be August 25th, but in the meantime, we'll be having a once off charity gig in Brannigans Pub, Cathedral Street (just off O'Connell St) on FRI AUG 5th. If you want to play at Moondog, just drop by for cake, and bring a demo..!
