Hi Folks...
First things first... thanks to everyone who came to Whelans on Sat 8th. It was a really special night for us... first gig with the new line up and also to celebrate Elvis 70th Birthday. Hope you liked our version of the American Trilogy. I think the King was smiling down while enjoying a deep fried Peanut Butter & Banana Sandwich,
Anywho after a year and a half of our debut album sitting in boxes in an empty warehouse, we are finally ready to put out our debut album "I'd like the world to teach me to sing".
To celebrate this fact we are playing Crawdaddy on Sat 12th Feb... along with doing as many rag week gigs in colleges around the country.
Doors are at 8pm and admission is €10.00. There will be some very special guests who I'm keeping a suprise.
The first two single "Big Shoes" and "The Days are no better" both received critical acclaim from The Irish Times', Kevin Courtney, The Herald's George Byrne and 2fm's Dave Fanning.
Anyway hope to see some familar faces on the 12th.
Cheers
Gav
