************************************************************************************ Neosupervital plays Crawdaddy on Wed Dec 8th 2004 Come see one man and his synth guitar play the finest electro pop on the market today This is the only headline Neosupershow of 2004 Support: Stanley Super 800 & DJ KittyKat Doors 8pm, Admission €10 www.neosupervital.com ************************************************************************************ Neosupervital If you fancy a spot of impromptu James Brownesque break dancing peppered with some beatboxing and recorder playing being proffered by a sharp suited one man electro band - Mr. Neosupervital was definitely honed for your pleasure. You may recognise Tim O'Donovan from playing drums in such bands as Bell X1 and Settler but what he offers as Neosupervital is entirely different. It all started one fine morning nigh on 3 years ago when he acquired his next-door neighbour's discarded guitar (ahem actually off his dustbin) and started composing. He then progressed from the acoustic to a pc, a drum box and a synth guitar. Think the Dandy Warhols fused with electronic beats, melodic pop, provoking lyrics more than imbued with irony, not to mention a stunning vocal range, and you're somewhere on the right track. If none of that tickles your proverbial fancy you should go see him for the laser light show kindly displayed by his glasses - mesmerising. Neosupervital has recently remixed the likes of Life After Modelling (December 21st) and Bell x1 (Next To You). Both singles are currently on release. 2005 sees Neosupervital releasing his debut long player, following on from the extended players that were 2002's Use What You Got (5/5 Sunday Tribune) and 2003's Focus (9/10 Hot Press). Neosupervital shared a split Road Relish single with the Chalets in 2003. That was on sexy limited edition white vinyl. Neosupervital has recorded sessions for RTE 2fm, Today fm and 98fm. ************************************************************************************ "Audiences either get him or they don’t, but Neosupervital is definitely on to something quality". Event Guide "...sings like a porn star and dances like he's on day release..." Mongrel magazine "Úvodní ve_er Vala_ského _palí_ku a hned ne_ekaná bomba - "one man show" bubeníka Bell X1 Tima Donovana _ili Neosupervital. Sm_s samplované i _ivé muziky a zp_vu, vtipn_ch text_ ("Jazzového fa_ouna" zpíval cel_ sál)". www.obeliskval.cz “packed full of synth pop gems” – Sunday Tribune "This is primarily a pop thing, one that occasionally orbits the worlds of Human League, the Beach Boys or Money Mark, whilst remaining thoroughly original and inventive"- Homage Magazine *************************************************************************************** Thanking you.

In addition to all those quotes I'd like to add Cluas' comments to this: "synth-pop brilliance" - Cluas.com Were it not for the fact that Tim's other band pretty much the the "Gig of the fortnight" after the one that I'm working on now sewn up this would be it.
