You may recognise Tim O'Donovan from playing drums in such bands as Bell X1 and Settler but what he offers as Neosupervital is entirely different. It all started one fine morning nigh on 3 years ago when he acquired his next-door neighbour's discarded guitar (ahem actually off his dustbin) and started composing. He then progressed from the acoustic to a pc, a drum box and a synth guitar. Think the Dandy Warhols fused with electronic beats, melodic pop, provoking lyrics more than imbued with irony, not to mention a stunning vocal range, and you're somewhere on the right track. If none of that tickles your proverbial fancy you should go see him for the laser light show kindly displayed by his glasses - mesmerising. Neosupervital has recently remixed the likes of Life After Modelling (December 21st) and Bell x1 (Next To You). Both singles are currently on release. 2005 sees Neosupervital releasing his debut long player, following on from the extended players that were 2002's Use What You Got (5/5 Sunday Tribune) and 2003's Focus (9/10 Hot Press). Neosupervital shared a split Road Relish single with the Chalets in 2003. That was on sexy limited edition white vinyl.
