Ten Past Seven are Matt on Bass, Ger on Drums and Rory on Guitar. Originally from Kerry, they started the band in the month of September '02 when they moved to Cork. Having witnessed the live monstrosity of local Cork bands such as Weevil (RIP) and Rest, they were inspired to create their own blend of instrumental madness. There followed a few weeks of intense writing, in which instrumentals were loudly and violently excreted from the artistic parts of their brains. After they had a small set together they started playing with bands such as Charlottefield, Mono, Brood, Noxagt, Giddy Motors and The Redneck Manifesto. Ten Past Seven's debut album will be released on Out on a Limb records in Oct/Nov 2004. All proceeds will go to the "SAVE THE BOG-WALRUS" campaign. Dry County is the brainchild of Kevin Littlewood and Phil Porter. Originally formed as a side project in the later months of 2002, it soon became their main priority and in May 2003 the first EP "Bury Your Head" was released. While initially the songs were written by Kevin and recorded/produced by Phil, after the first release the two began intensively writing new material together. This brought about a whole new sound, combining guitars and layered vocals with a vast array of electronic toys and programmed beats. So from September 2003 to January 2004 the "Nothing Stays In Place" EP was written and recorded. The two have recently enlisted keyboard player Joanne Parle and bass player Stuart Flood as part of the live set up, and have just released "Nothing Stays In Place" on Lazybird Records.
