    IMRO SONGWRITER SEMINAR - 22/09/2004 Songwriter Tips and Demo Dip Session with Ralph Murphy and Jack Tempchin. Date: Saturday 9th October 2004 Venue: Holiday Inn, Pearse Street, Dublin 2. Time: 2:00 p.m. Important: IMRO members wishing to reserve a place at this seminar should send an email to keith.johnson@imro.ie to book a place. (limited availability) An element of this seminar will feature a demo listening session. A small number of tracks will be selected during the course of the seminar to be critiqued by Ralph and Jack. If you would like to have a track of yours considered please bring along a copy of the song in CD format, making sure to clearly mark your name and the name of the track on the CD cover. Speaker Profiles: Ralph Murphy: Canadian songwriter Ralph Murphy has achieved near-legendary status in Nashville through his career as a performer, producer, songwriter, publisher, and most recently, Vice President, International and Domestic Membership, ASCAP. Ralph Murphy's songwriting credits include Ronnie Milsap's "He Got You," Crystal Gayle's "Half The Way" and Kathy Mattea's "Seeds." He is also an instructor for the respected Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) Song Camps. With career turns as a producer, publisher, songwriter and executive, there is little in the music business Ralph hasn't seen. Jack Tempchin: Jack Tempchin in the writer of such legendary hits as Peaceful Easy Feeling, Smuggler’s Blues, Slow Dancing and You Belong To The City. In addition to numerous songs for movies and television, Jack has recently written songs for Trisha Yearwood, Coolio, Emmylou Harris, George Jones, Glenn Frey, Sammy Kershaw and The Eagles.
