    Friday 16th July, @ Crawdaddy (beside the Pod, Harcourt St) The Coldspoon Conspiracy with special guests Jeff Martin Torgas Valley Reds (Belfast) Admission is 7 euro, doors at 8pm.     Support is from Jeff Martin who releases his second album in early September. The album was recorded in Dublin and mixed by John McEntire (of Tortoise/The Sea & Cake) at Soma Studios, Chicago. Jeff now plays with a 5 piece band (including members of The Redneck Manifesto and The Coldspoon Conspiracy). www.jeffmartinmusic.com Torgas Valley Reds are a three piece based in Belfast. We could tell you that in the mid-90's, as Backwater, they released several singles and an album on Che records and Fantastic Plastic. And maybe it would make some sense to point out that around that time they toured with Radiohead, Ash and Idlewild. But we'd rather you just listened to their new single "Torgas Valley Blue/Me & My Buddies Would Vote For You", the first to be released uder their new name. www.howlclub.com

    Off Minor have had to cancel their whole European tour, so they will be replaced on the 6th by Soldiers Take Half. Still, next week = THE COLDSPOON CONSPIRACY + JEFF MARTIN + TORGAS VALLEY REDS @ CRAWDADDY!

    yesterday!! and it was really damn good. got to hear a couple of new tunes and jeff martin was able support, his version of Bizarre Love triangle was really cool
