Ehhh don't know about Damien Rice or Mundy Pam but Humanzie and 100 Bullets are playin in Eamonn Doran's on Friday night which should be a good one and the Noise Party in the Music Centre on Saturday night will also be good - Andalusia and 100 Bullets playin that one too.

Glen Hansard is playing in Vicar Street this week. Also playing this week... Bonnie Raitt Sheryl Crow James Brown DMX Garda Band (they'e not bad you know) The Long Riders Alicia Keys The Go-Betweens My overall advice, buy a newspaper and check out the listings. Me, I'm off to Metallica ! Altogether now, "As I was goin' over / The Cork and Kerry Mountains AAARGH !"

Try Dave Couse in the Hub on Friday. He was the lead in A House. He's very very good. http://www.davecouse.com

Bud Rising presents: Badly Drawn Boy 25 July, The Village David Kitt 22 July, Crawdaddy Primal Scream 20 July, Red Box The Charlatans €25 23, 24 july In Whelans Not strictly acoustic, not strictly this week but sometimes it's good to plan ahead :-) Plus they should be damn good shows considering those playing coupled with excellant venues. Think tickets went on sale 24/06 so there might even be some left???? Also Brendan O‘Shea plays whelans on Tue 27 of July seen him when he supported Mark Geary and he was pretty kool.
