Hello there,
Lucera and Babyjenks play a gig in Dorans on Tuesday the 15th of June in Dorans.
Doors open around 8pm, admission is a fiver.
For those who have heard Lucera before, theres a small adjustment to our set up that ye might like, if not feck off we never liked ye either !
(By the way, those who saw the cops come into our last show, we'd just like to say that that hardly ever happens. We fully respect and admire the brave men and women who protect us from the evils of late night drinking. We need their help to regulate our behaviour.)
We will be recording the gig for the craic, so if you want to shout random abuse and have yourself on CD, then surely thats reason enough to come.
come along, should be a great way to come down from the Chillis and the Pixies gig in the Phoenix Park. well actually next to them we're sh1t, but you know what we mean,
right?
right, (yes this is a bare faced *bump*! sorry)we've seen the chillis and the pixies and we cant measure up to that, but we're better than alot of malta eurovision entries.
not all though.
they've got talent on tap over there.

our guitar player is using an electric guitar for some new tunes. the acoustic is still there for half of the stuff we're doin, as is the fiddle. well we've had the electric for a while but we were waiting to get the songs rehearsed properly. a bit of a change.
Well we told you it was a small change!

The cops just came in doin one of those check ups on the bar. It was kind of funny, one of the bean gardas looked fairly nice in fairness, she said shed come to our next gig. Dont know if she meant on or off duty though.
The fiddle was out at that point of the show so they just assumed we were all nice queit lads or whatever and we all got beer later than we should have, but dont tell anyone that, its a secret right.
Fair play to the gaurds though. One of my more plesent experiences.
