Friday 7th May sees the return to Whelans of The Redneck Manifesto.  This is the bands first live performance since recording their third album in March this year. Recorded in the infamous Black Box Studios in France by Dave Odlum, the album will no doubt be one of the most eagerly awaited records of the coming year. The album is the first recording as a five piece and as such shows a highly expanded and developed sound moving on from where 2003’s ‘Cut your heart off from your head’ left off.  The band has been keeping a low profile live in the past year but will be undergoing a full Irish and European tour to support the release of the new album this summer.  Regarded as one of the countries finest live bands, their passionate, tight and hypnotic instrumental live shows are truly an event to witness. www.redneckmanifesto.com
