This Sat 21st at the BBR, two of Irelands leading Jazz musicians, Composer-bassist, Ronan Guilfoyle, and Guitarist Mike Nielsen will join forces with the virtuoso Dutch drummer Chandler Sardjoe. Chandler, visiting Ireland to give a jazz/drum workshop, is renowned for his extrqordinary command of complex rhythmic techniques, and is one of the leading lights of the contemporary Dutch scene. He has perfromed with Steve Coleman, Greg Osby, Mark Turner, and Lee Konitz, among others. Nielsen and Guilfoyle are also pioneers of complex rhythmic techniques, so expect a night of free-wheeling intense music and metric intrigue! Doors at 9pm sharp.
