Saturday 31st:
NEW COLOUR SOUL
Members:
Formed in Early 2003, New Colour Soul have quickly taken the live scene by storm, playing their first gig only 4 weeks from forming, to rave reviews. Immediately after this they went on to play many high profile
gigs in Ireland including a video shoot in the Sugar Club in 2003. After a brief hiatus where the key members wrote material for their forthcoming album, New Colour Soul have re-emerged with a new lineup and
a more defined funky sound.
This funky sound was immediately recognised as one to watch by producers in RTE television, and the band were requested to appear as the featured artists for new prime time music show "The Element".
The talent ranges from far and wide with front man & guitarist Besty
hailing from West Cork, drummer Jenko and Keys man Robbie from Dublin,
bass by Jiri from the Czech Republic, and the 'Pole with Soul' Bronek
Szalanski on sax.
